Bearfacts
That nice Gabriel Rozenberg responded to my e-mail suggesting that using expressions like enjoy when refering to house price inflation and refering to inflation as growth were not exactly neutral. I'm not going to paste his response but he did say that he was 'no fan of the ridiculous house price inflation ( his words not mine ) we have experienced'. He also promised to review his use of terms like enjoy and growth. That's two Times journos who have responded to my e-mails in one week ! I think the point is, it is worth the effort - we might just begin to change attitudes and opinions if instead of spending hours on here, or maybe as well as, we contact the journalists and reporters , harass MPs. Let them know there's a whole mob of people who are very unhappy about HPI and see it for the disaster it truly is!

You are absolutely right, we've been working our socks off at PricedOut doing just that. If anyone wants to help out by contacting journos, MPs, etc etc let us know as we've got lots of things to tell em :-)
