DonnieDarker
Relating to another thread...I am becoming increasingly suspicious of some advice given to my family that they should re-mortgage a 2nd property (inherited) in order to buy out a sibling and then rent it out. At the moment I am struggling to see in any shape or form why renting it would be preferable to selling it whilst the market is still warm. Do any of you know...are the commision rates IFA's get for selling mortgages far superior to other products they might sell (bonds etc.). I'm worried that they are being sold something that is not in their best interests, but is in the mutual interest of the IFA. Thanks
