Realistbear
http://www.abcmoney.co.uk/news/0420061866.htm The data from the department of trade and industry showed that company liquidations fell by 5.5 per cent on the quarter but were still up 8.5 per cent on a year earlier to 3,187. But for 2005 as a whole, 2,257 companies in England and Wales hired administrators, an increase of 41 per cent from 2004 . 41% increase in Companies in trouble and the economy has only just begun to turn sour. Little wonder unemployment is starting to gather pace. HPC 2006.
libitina
Good find. Too bad it's not being reported here.
SpoonUnit
Good find. Too bad it's not being reported here. Or pretty much anywhere. You would think that a 40% YoY increase in companies going into admin. would merit the BBC business section... but no.
