Net mortgage lending is forecast to increase slightly, while consumer credit is seen remaining at a very low level. GFK CONSUMER CONFIDENCE (JUN) Tuesday, June 30 at 0001 BST (Monday, June 29 2301 GMT) Forecast Previous Consumer confidence index -25 -27 Consumer confidence is expected to improve slightly, having held steady for the two previous months. NATIONWIDE HOUSE PRICE SURVEY (JUN) Tuesday, June 30 at 0600 GMT Forecast Previous House price change m/m (pct) -0.4 1.2 House price change y/y (pct) -10.8 -11.3 The Nationwide index is likely to show house prices resumed their decline after May's surprise price rise. GDP (FINAL ESTIMATE Q1) Tuesday, June 30 at 0830 GMT Forecast Previous GDP growth (qq) -2.1 -1.9 GDP growth (yy) -4.3 -4.1 Economists expect first-quarter growth to be revised lower on both a quarterly and an annual basis after Q1 construction data was revised sharply downwards. BALANCE OF PAYMENTS (Q1) Tuesday, June 30 at 0830 GMT Forecast Previous Current account (bln stg) -6.8 -7.641 FOR PREVIOUS STORIES, CLICK ON MANUFACTURING PMI (JUN) Wednesday, July 1 at 0828 GMT Forecast Previous PMI 46.5 45.4 Manufacturing activity is expected to have declined further in June, though at a slower pace than in May, in the CIPS/Markit purchasing managers' survey, despite a surprise increase in industrial output according to April's official figures. SERVICES PMI (JUN) Friday, July 3 at 0828 GMT Forecast Previous Business activity 52.0 51.7 Analysts are expecting activity in the non-retail private sector services industry to have increased further in June's CIPS/Markit purchasing managers' survey, after unexpectedly returning to growth in May. HALIFAX HOUSE PRICE SURVEY (JUN) TBC, expected one morning of June 29 week at 0800 GMT Previous Forecast Previous House price change m/m (pct) -0.7 +2.6 House price change 3m/y (pct) -14.7 -16.3 The Halifax index is likely to show house prices fell again in June after a surprise rise in May, their biggest increase since 2002.
