LONDON, June 26 (Reuters) - Following are some of the key British economic indicators to be released in the coming week.

CONSUMER CREDIT (MAY)

Monday, June 29 at 0830 GMT

Mortgage credit (Stg bln) 1.1 0.973

Mortgage approvals 46,000 43,201

Bank of England data is expected to show a further increase in mortgage approvals in May, though levels are still barely half the 75,000 a month which economists believe is consistent with rising house prices.

Net mortgage lending is forecast to increase slightly, while consumer credit is seen remaining at a very low level.

GFK CONSUMER CONFIDENCE (JUN)

Consumer confidence is expected to improve slightly, having held steady for the two previous months.

NATIONWIDE HOUSE PRICE SURVEY (JUN)

House price change y/y (pct) -10.8 -11.3

The Nationwide index is likely to show house prices resumed their decline after May's surprise price rise.

GDP (FINAL ESTIMATE Q1)

Economists expect first-quarter growth to be revised lower on both a quarterly and an annual basis after Q1 construction data was revised sharply downwards.

Manufacturing activity is expected to have declined further in June, though at a slower pace than in May, in the CIPS/Markit purchasing managers' survey, despite a surprise increase in industrial output according to April's official figures.

Analysts are expecting activity in the non-retail private sector services industry to have increased further in June's CIPS/Markit purchasing managers' survey, after unexpectedly returning to growth in May.
