again, you're blaming individuals for systemic problems. it's tempting and convenient, but it only serves those in power who are actually responsible for the state we're in

Being joyful when others are suffering? Grim. They haven't broken any laws or behaved immorally, they've just acted unwisely. Blame the system, the government, late-stage capitalism if you like, but not individuals.
