I bought a new VW last year.

If you go what it considers to near the white line in the middle of the road it jerks you back just slightly.

I thought something was wrong with the car as it happened 3 times on the day I got it. I took it back to the dealers who explained it to me. I was not the only person going back thinking there was a problem.

I said to the dealer you should have explained this to people the reply was we don't have time read the book that comes with the car.

If you insist on purchasing a clown car then don't be surprised to discover that it drives like a clown car.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what is so fantastic about what Buffett and Munger do (did)? Doesn't BH just buy the shares of other companies with other people's  money rather than actually producing anything themselves?

Sounds like an ill-eduacated clown like yourself needs to learn more:

Charlie Munger lived in the same home for 70 years: Rich people who build ‘really fancy houses’ become ‘less happy’

Does anyone know why Kraken seems to have a £300 premium on bitcoin? It's only been in the last few days.

Always used to be pretty much bang on spot and you pay your fee whatever percent that is on said amount of BTC.

Does this mean there is some extra demand for BTC on the Kraken exchange?

    What am I missing here?

I know there are differences price wise between exchanges but I don't know why the sudden 'premium' on Kraken.

No idea.  Never usually check tbh, but rarely use Kraken now.

Not sold a sat since 2021 so no idea on the pricing but from my own experience Kraken is solid and dependable so will keep using them no matter what the mark up.

Just ordered my first full EV. Company SS scheme.

Free EV charging at the office :)

Fantastic news. Yet another clown off the forecourts so I can fill up my ICE even faster.

Enjoy your new clown car. Having to charge it at your employers weak ass charger for 10 hours a day will certainly please your middling manager with your constant presence.

Really?  It doesn't sound like OpenAI is being run by an Artificial Intelligence... it looks like it's being run by Real Stupidity.

Who do you think should produce the AI that runs OpenAI?  Would the provider of that system have a board - and, if so, could it also be an AI?  If so, who do you think should produce that AI? (And so on... ad-infinitum.)

The real question, of course, is who is responsible for what an AI does?  Is it the people who are sufficiently savvy to build it in the first place, or could it be the halfwits who buy it and authorise its control of something consequential?  Could we hold the AI responsible... and impose jail time on any AI that a judiciary determines to have done something bad?  Could the Judiciary be replaced by an AI?  Would that be better or worse than our current regime?

JFC you don't even understand the comprehension of the word "could" from your very own post. Literally NO ONE tabled that OpenAI is currently being run by an AI. Pathetic.

What do we reckon is going on here re the firing? Apparently he was less than candid with investors.

    The next Theranos?

There is currently a massive disagreement going forward about the path that AI development takes, as one side of the debate believe it should be constrained under the threat that AI becomes too advanced it takes over from their human creators. While the other believes that for private profit it should be allowed to advance unhindered. That's why the vast majoritiy of the clowns on here dribbling over this sacking are ill-educated luddites rejoicing in something they know zero about.

I spoke to a seller who can't sell their house. They are going to try again in the spring. They think the current dip is transient. I'm not so sure. Another six months and buyers will be even more maxed out on their credit cards. Plus job losses too?

How can you be even more maxed out on credit cards? Either you are maxed out or not. You do understand that 'max' signifies the highest limit? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

with bitcoin extreme wealth cannot be hidden.

JFC. You literally have zero clue about what you talk about and now it makes sense why you only managed to accumulate two bitcoin over the course of a decade.

I have multiple bitcoin locked up across multiple paper wallet addresses that have literally never touched the blockchain. It is incredibly easy to hide wealth on the blockchain IF you know how.

At the end of the day it is more clear than ever that you never were a true Bitcoiner and were ultimately a pathetic hodler who failed time and again to grasp the value of what you actually held. You're now officially an embarresment to this thread. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

EVs will be cheaper than ICEs within a few years.  The "only the rich will be able to drive" line is just another bit of the FUD being pumped out by the fossil fuel lobby.

EV clown cars will NEVER replace practical ICE cars. No matter how many idiots roll up to buy them forced by government coercion and subsidies. It didn't happen over a hundred years ago and it's not happening over the next hundred.

Having a car that meets all my needs and is hugely cheaper and more reliable than any equivalent ICE, makes me a cult member?

From your other posts you seem to be an angry person with a huge chip on their shoulder. Apparently a result of your not making it into middle management and now seeking redemption from this failure via the Bitcoin religion.

    Truely a first class

     🤡

Actually what get's my goat CoV is stupidity, especially when it is foisted upon others through subsidies and coercion, with zero critical thinking or planning. And clown cars are the very epitomy of stupidity. For example, are now discussions that NCP multistorey car parks will not be strong enough to support the full parking capacity of clown cars because their batteries (whose production causes MASSIVE enviromental harm but that's a different story you prefer to deny) are so heavy. If you cannot SEE the stupidity in that then you ARE in a cult.
