  1. Yes we were looking into those cottages and came to the same conclusion. Looking now at Clasemont Road area in Morriston...big houses for not too bad a price once you've knocked them down a bit by the looks of it. but there seem a few up for sale there. Is something going on round there?
  2. Hiya, thanks...yes I'd already spotted that one. I'm thinking that area is too overpriced for the size of the properties and the more i thought about climbing up that hill lol - gonna cast the net wider.
  3. Thanks MT that was really helpful. To be honest we dont need to rent it out but thought if we could that would be a bonus if not too much of a palava. Didnt know about the boulder situation. I did think house prices in Mumbles would fall as they are ridiculously high...I think several of the owners have multiple properties if you look at the holiday rental sites so wouldnt be surprised if the owner has another...maybe means more desperation to get rid of!
  4. Hubby and I are both from Swansea living in London. He comes back to Swansea a lot, me less so but both want to come back at some point to live...but not right now maybe 5 - 10 years. Mortgage on flat we own in London ends in 2 years as been overpaying it since I got it. We want a smallish character house that we can buy before we come back and use for ourselves or rent out for hoiday seasons when we are not using it. This one has taken my eye but can anyone give advice on how much overpriced it is. Considering putting a very cheeky offer on as its just come back on market after a long time SSTC for 10 grand less with the EA emailing me to say the seller wants a quick sale and is open to offers. What do you think a very cheeky offer is? http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-23848416.html
