Have banks been hiding their losses?
'The Bank of England estimates that up to 12% of UK residential mortgages could be receiving some kind of forbearance or special help from banks at present.' Robert Peston makes some interesting observations. Link borrowed from Figgy in the forum.

I was just looking at the 600 Jobs loss above and thought that will be a couple of hundred houses up for sale. Then I came to my senses and thought actually that will be another couple of houses under forbearance.
I think todays untold bubble is in UK bank forbearance. This is kicking the can down the road, but I can now see the end of that road.
