Freddos are for everyone. They don't judge. I would say that Freddos are part of the New National Fabric along with I'm-Alright-Jack-ism and an overall attitude of Sod-the-Poor and Look-at-how-Shiny-My-New-(insert device/car/flat overlooking the Thames/whatever)-is-ness. Just hope the prices stay the same now. We can at least use them as some sort of valid reference point. If they have any honour, the owners will keep the prices the same. Remember Garigari-kun... in 2016 when they raised the price of the Japanese favourite ice-cream by a tiny bit, there was a Massive public outcry and the Boss of the company had to issue a 60-second TV apology to the nation. The firm’s president Inoue Sota, its chairman Hideki Inoue and staff bowed to viewers. I say do not underestimate the power of chocolate. And do not understimate the power of sentiment.
