IP Newcomer Posted November 19, 2008 Share Posted November 19, 2008 Can't really tell too much from such a small sample but it seems to be a tale of three halves. - Land with no housing or development potential selling fine. - Land with development potential either not getting bids or not meeting reserves (the latter could be the sellers not the buyers) - Houses selling at less than peak prices and less than current prices but still at lower than bargain yields Odd that houses are selling still but development land is not selling. You'd expect the other way round if it were a recovery. Looks like the cash buyer BTLs do have some life left in them, at least on the east coast.
