Stingray
This property was originally marketed at £625K, now marketed at £500K. Still no sale/offer http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-218...16&tr_t=buy At least the vendor is being realistic about what it takes to shift property in the current market - LOWER THE PRICE. Houses may start moving again if more followed their lead. I wish them well. This also demonstrates the extent to which properties are still being marketed at bubble prices. My suggestion for realistic prices in the current market : Marketing Price +500K - Deduct 200K Marketing price 250-500K - Deduct 150K Marketing price < 250K - Deduct 100K

howlowcanyougo
I think we are just starting to see money coming off the big stuff ..... Property Bee shows Savills have suddenly started hacking 100K off 600K+ and 50K off 450K+
Stingray
Another member of the sub 125K club from Ipswich. Originally marketed for 725K - now 595K, heading for sub 500K http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-196...10&tr_t=buy This one should be a member of the club - marketed by Woodcock and Sons - Ipswich's very own Foxtons http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-840...11&tr_t=buy On market for 18 months at 595K - this is sub 450K beauty. Finally another example of Woodcock ramping. Marketed at 625K, down to 598K - sensible offers encouraged - how about 400K ! http://www.rightmove.co.uk/viewdetails-203...10&tr_t=buy
