Hi Guys,

Don't normally post here, but lurk occasionally!

Anyway, this is definately off topic!

A friend of mine has just started the first totally unsupported trek to the south pole and back, one of the last great polar challenges, as yet unachieved. He is a top bloke and hoping to raise a money for his favourite charity.

This isn't a plee for money! Just an attempt to raise awareness of Chris's effort, he's fought really hard for sponsorship for this attempt and only secured the required level days before he flew out.
