200p Posted August 8, 2009 Author Share Posted August 8, 2009 You'll need a ID number for anything to do with government online e.g. National Insurance, DVLA etc. It will probably become the forerunner to national ID cards, and then you must have a number once it spreads from online only dealings to face to face transactions.
