Hi All ,
Back after a good few years away.
Hello getdoon_weebobby.
I was away for a decade, thought I'd call back too.

and it goes without saying, as well as factoring in any potential HPC, FTBs should obviously factor in the likelihood that they'll have a job in several months.

We're all going to be skint for an extended period of time.... with the Tories in govt for 5 years I'm expecting austerity on steroids & continued money printing when the dust of the pandemic settles... I do expect a considerable houseprice correction UK wide but especially in London.
Agreed on all points.

Pray tell what is the cause of your return ?
Just due to the "interesting" times we're currently in. Was interested in what is being said here as those here were always less likely to simply digest the "spin".

Were you furloughed from HPC too ?... or have you been here since the last crash ?
Nice to see some of the old posters posting.
I've only popped in recently. Once the crash happened, I didn't need to hang out here anymore.

I don't think this feature is up and running yet, is it?
Unless it's been changed to access it from somewhere else on the site.
-
May I say it?
Rock on!
-
Excellent, PropertyPal!
-
A few days ago they appear to have got rid of their feature whereby properties could be restricted solely based upon price with no geographical component.
Why'd you get rid of this feature? It was quite good.

I am thinking about doing a loft conversationHas anyone here done a roof space conversation?
You should never talk with your roof space as there can be unforeseen consequences.

Great to hear from you again Pod. Things are getting interesting now.
Thanks doccyboy. Yes, they most certainly are! !!
-
Alot of them don't seem to be available now, only a hour later, must be a mistake or something
Perhaps they've been over-run with buyers and they've sold out since this morning.
On second thoughts, perhaps you're right...

load of crap anyway
That's true.

I predict people still trying to sell their houses at peak with houses at half that price in the same street!
Quite probably.

For those prices you could get a 2 (or 3 bedroom) house in Belfast in a nice area.
Why do you want an apartment?
