  1. Newbie here Been a lurker for a long time but always afraid to post as Im nowhere near as knowledgable as you lovely peeps. Anyway, just wanted to update whats happening in my area of Sutton Coldfield. Im in rented accomodation and in the lucky position that when I do finally buy it will be a cash purchase so have been an avid follower of right move for the last 12 months or so. In the last two days, two of the major Agents in the area, Paul Carr and Acres (hope im allowed to name them) have removed all property from Rightmove. Also Acres have closed at least one of their offices in Walmley, Sutton Coldfield. Not sure about there other areas. According to houseprice.co.uk, in June only 5 properties sold in my postcode area B76 (walmley and surrounding areas) and the previous two months were 9 properties a month. With 3 agents in B76 thats not a lot to go round. The norm for this time last year was around 60 properties a month Have just seen the first 3 bed property to come to the market at under 160 which sets a bit of a precedent for Walmley. Would love to know if anyone else is following Sutton Coldfield, and Walmley in particular.
