I missed this one - a song released early last year by an English band.
The reason I put it in the main forum is that we're generally concerned about capture-by-debt, and this seems to show the young uns' realisation they've just been shut out. Clever thing is it's a big joke about being in Pompeii during the eruption.
The lyrics despair over the effects of what this forum thinks is the financialised confiscation of wealth, and the video has some interesting images, particularly the final frame over the eco future. Prospects not good.
Also there's a touch of the '80s to it, and maybe it ties in with the recent promotion of English traditional music. Just wondering if self-expression amongst the shut-out is recycling common stuff.
