Already looking a bit too sentimental. Anybody would have thought that no firms go bust and nobody ever loses a job except in a recession. People go bankrupt all the time, sometimes on purpose.
It might actually sink in though ! We need a dose of reality !

For some strange reason I hate Brown a lot less than at any point in his career at the moment.
I think all brown haters need to prepare themselves for the possibility that he may actually get britain through the upcoming global economic fall out with minimal damage.
A month ago I would have said no way would I vote for Labour but now I am not sure.
A truly bewildering post my friend. Everything is relative. Broon contributed to this mess for many years and it should never even have reached this stage, no matter how "minimal" the damage turns out to be! I dont see anyone escaping lightly from a "global economic fall out" !!!!

People buying Range Rovers, yachts etc are spreading money around. Id much rather they do that turn it into gold and lock it in a safe never to see the light of day.
No. It is not in any way good because it is largely based on a phoney economy. If it was built on real industries and resources it would be good.

I think he is very informative when he sticks to documented facts and stuff he can substantiate. The problem comes when he starts to theorize and predict events. Why not just stick to what you can prove and forget the other speculative stuff ?

Good point. We should concentrate on what can be substantiated. This is a great show recently presented by Danny Wallace on sky. It is powerful and sobbering in my opinion. This is where the REAL conspiracy lies.

Well I'm looking a Nikkei live chart and comparing it with the BBC Market Data page. At no point has the Nikkei been up at any point today and is currently down 928 points. BBC shows it to be up 99 points.
BBC are just pointless.

Completely seconded. The sheeple are your friends and family and you will need them and they need you. That is what it is to be human and just because we get the impression people don't get stuff from their current behaviour doesn't mean that they won't soon enough. I think they will. Every where I go most people seem to sense something is very wrong they just don't have any information to guide them as they rely on things like the BBC and newspapers. They will figure it out as they lose their jobs, houses, pensions, benefits, drugs, etc. And when that happens it's fairly safe to say all hell will be let loose. This is still the calm before the storm believe it or not.
