drrayjo Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Thanks to manhattanguy on BigPicture; The consumer confidence index fell in July, marking the second straight monthly decline, the Conference Board reported Tuesday. The index now stands at 46.6, down from 49.3 in June, and was below expectations of economists surveyed by MarketWatch. Both the present situation index and the expectations index declined in July. The people are being force-fed a synthetic-recovery-substitute (SRS) but it's just not staying down. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/consumer-...09-07-28-100380 Quote
MOP Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Previous=49.3 Expected=49.0 Actual=46.6 Why do these "experts" even bother making predictions? Quote
interestrateripoff Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Don't worry I'm sure that this increase before the G8 meet again as the happy clappy ramping will come out in force. Providing of course nothing bad happens between now and then. Quote
