More good news

The Guardian: UK house prices fall by £5,000 on average, with south sliding fastest

More and more price reductions. I guess sold prices to follow shortly. I loved the estate agent's reduction strategy though :) Good time for cheeky offers.

I can believe it.

I recently looked at a few houses which have been on the market for 2-3 months and even with up to £10k reductions are still there. And adding to that the house around the corner from us still hasn't sold. It was reduced to £285k a while back, went STC and is now back at the same price. To put that in context, a couple of years ago that would have sold within weeks @ ~£320k, even with the 1970's decor.
