  • What a mensch, protecting the views of the few and condemning the many to living in cramped conditions and paying more per square meter…

  • It’s a ‘potential offer’ made two years ago. And (official?) ‘enquiries’ have turned down ‘the proposal’ even though it’s still in its ‘early stages’ and no planning application has been made. I wonder why the other newspapers aren’t carrying this ‘story’? And what’s Kim Kardashian doing today?

  • I wonder if the developer just bought an option to buy for £275m if they could get planning permission? An acquaintance of mine got paid such an option – £950k for a flat worth half that, on the proviso that they could get planning permission to knock it down and use the land more efficiently, i.e. build three times as many flats. A pure example of value created out of thin air but trousered by a select individual who has nothing to do with its creation.
That said, my block is very similar and nearby so I would change my mind if I won a similar lottery… 🙂

  • I thought there was supposed to be a massive oil field under East Sussex? Probably better to not to build housing estates all over it just in case
