I wonder, which of these top 10 landlords [by turnover] tops the charts for issuing Sections 21s on tenants ?

So many amazing ironies all at work in one man. This is really something. The second-generation EU immigrant who runs for UKIP has to be about as delusional as the foreigner who votes BNP. The buy-to-let landlord bemoaning benefit scroungers whilst actively seeking out housing benefit tenants surely tops them both for a complete lack of self-awareness.

UKIP's core vote seems to be old people who don't realise that the strains on our housing supply and health system are more to do with their own longevity, so it makes sense they have someone like this guy to speak on housing.

@2 UKIP seems to thrive on contradictions. Our local candidate is also a second generation immigrant whose father has worked hard all his life etc etc. but now it's time to pull up the drawbridge for some reason.

Our local UKIP candidate moved here from Australia ten years ago and started a family with his Greek wife. His main concern is foreigners using the NHS.

A while ago, a work friend was telling me that he is facebook friends with his local UKIP candidate from back home, a second-generation immigrant from the Middle East.

When he showed me the guy's facebook page, I expressed surprise that they were friends, because my work friend is left-wing if at all political.

"Oh, well, that's what's so funny. He's really right-wing but the only reason I know him is because he used to be a coke dealer."

UKIP seems to be entirely made up of people who've never considered the possibility that the problem with the country might actually be themselves.
