Brompton Road Tube Station Put Up For Sale

Planet Property: Brompton Road Tube Station Put Up For Sale

Brompton Road station, a disused London Tube stop currently owned by the Ministry of Defence has been put on the market for £20m. It was used during WWII as a secret command centre by Winston Churchill during the Blitz and is also believed to be where Rudolf Hess, Adolf Hitler's deputy in the Nazi Party, was brought to be interrogated after being captured in Scotland in 1941.

I think the best solution to the sale would be tranform the 1906 rail station into a hostel witch is publicly owned. This would allow not only for tourists to have cheap and centralised location in our capital, but allow English residents the same chance and opportunity to venture at affordable prices, giving them a hub for exploration and enjoyment in a wonderful city. With the history of building being as intriguing as it is, it will surely create prositive revenue as wellas a feeling of ore witch will bring to life a series of reoccurring visitors. I hope this gets seen!
