Printing energy

Telegraph: Risk of UK blackouts has tripled in a year, Ofgem warns

"Ministers responded by unveiling plans for factories to be paid to switch off in winter to prevent households' lights going out"...
Is there some snag? with using the BoE to purchase government debt with *printed funds* in order to -pay factories to switch off- to keep power going to households? Can this be true? I read this and I just thought the UK is so clearly out of touch with reality, one day people are going to try and grab their cash to escape, from banks that are completely incapable of supplying the funds, and a government to match.

No kidding. Shutting down our coal plants and putting up crap windmills is just idiotic.

CO2 is a trace gas, measured in parts per million that is less potent a greenhouse gas than water vapor which is 2% of the atmosphere, principally affected by the sun. If CO2 levels doubled from here, temperatures would be marginally affected. The major effect would be that plants would grow faster and need less water. Deserts would blossom as would highlands and tundra. Biomass and farming would multiply in effectiveness.

So, if you are green and like life, be pro CO2 and tell these psychopaths in power to leave your coal and your cash alone. For those who do not like coal, we will have clean nuclear fusion within a generation or something even more effective if only we allow the economy to grow.

Note, these policies are being led by the EU. They lead us to being "interdependent", i.e. losing our independence. We will be dependent on French nuclear power, and EU subsidies. Assimilated into the borg, and it is disgusting. Our ancestors who fought for independence and prosperity in two world wars are rolling in their graves, and the Nazi plan National Socialism across Europe is achieved.

Oh, you don't believe me? Here is BBC Radio 4 reporting on documents stating that Bilderberg set up the European Union plan.

Prince Bernhard was a founder and led the organization. He was a NAZI:

We know that Hitler seeked a united Europe, and we know that it is not democratic, not accountable, and that it operates for and by the corporations and banking elite.

Yes, Crash, Silence. Hmm. When you see democracy being whithered away, The Guardian exposing that ALL electronic communication is stored, databased and datamined, that we have a worse spy state than the Stazi could have dreamed of, what is it that you will not put up with? When you have a government that ploughs hundreds of bilions of pounds into transnational banks, what will it take?

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

Right now, you have the freedom to learn, to communicate, to warn people. Understand your history, that tyrants push, and push, and push, until they meet resistance. That is your responsibility. Right now you have the chance to say no, but if we allow undemocratic institutions to take hold, ones with no accountability, then your children may well burn in camps.

Crash, isn't it odd that you don't find fear mongerers like Al Gore more scary, those who would shut down our energy production, pay him indulgences, like the corrupt Medieval church, tell you there is no point having children, and that we are all going to die a horrid death from global warming, that the State must tax and regulate every aspect of human society to save the planet. That Stalinism and mass population reduction is the only salvation.

And I am the scary one?

I was thinking more from the point that if you shut down the factories to keep power flowing to households, how do the households pay for the power ? As the factories are closed e.g. sorry you don't get paid this week because we closed the factories to keep power going to your house, also here is your electricity bill.

Stillthinking, it will be like Romania, where government buildings get power, everybody else is rationed. Understand, this is driven by public policy. Politicians have more power and control when you are dependent and, through monopolies and the threat of blackouts they can jack up the prices.

You will not pay any less but will get power rationed if they get all the coal power stations shut.

Mail reported today that power rationing is about two years ago. Co-indices with us shutting down the coal plants.

The other aspect is that the EU get to have control over our power supply, maybe in exchange they get an EU grid, plus, private ownership of energy production in this country could either be ended or consolidated as a result of the crisis. They call it creative destruction.
