Out with the old (corruption) and in with the new (values)
Let's build more homes – who wouldn't vote for that?
Politicians are trying to dodge it, but the way to heal our warped housing market is to invest for the public benefit again.

I wish HPC’ers would make their minds up.
I’ve been told on more than one occasion on HPC that there isn’t a housing shortage, so what is the real situation?

It’s all been stolen, mr g. Pay attention.
mark wadsworth says:
Mr G, there is no housing shortage in a physical sense, it’s just very, very unequally and inequitably distributed. And that inequality and inequity owes nothing to the ineptness of the non-owners and nothing to the hard work and enterprise of the owners. Land ownership (in the absence of LVT) is an entirely rigged market from the start.
Or as Dill says, “It’s all been stolen”.
