Indentured workers
Why don't more employers help their struggling staff?
Suggestion that companies should lend money to staff so they can avoid predatory pay day lenders. In fact, tax and property taxes are too high and should fall to levels appropriate for average UK incomes. For working people (those without the "good" relationship with the state) in the UK, tax and property tithes are around 70% of income.

Because they are being taxed and regulated to the hilt, in an economic environment of collapsed demand. Also, the poor economy has caused over-supply in workers and less demand for them. All caused by government action.
Ask the question, why did government destroy the jobs market and economy.
Further regulation will only make matters worse.

Yup, seems about right. There’s an easy way to sort that out.

Because the banks aren’t lending to employers.

Sure, dropping ‘property taxes’ will help. Rents and house prices will go up as much as these taxes go down, and the only winners will be existing homeowners and landlords.
Drop VAT, NI and income tax on the other hand and you’ll get more jobs and business activity
