House prices in first annual rise since October 2010

Myfinances.co.uk: Halifax: UK house prices see first annual rise for 27 months

House prices fell by 0.2 per cent in January compared to December, according to Halifax’s latest survey of the UK property market.
However, on an annual basis UK house prices were up by 1.3 per cent, the first annual rise since October 2010. On a quarterly basis they were up by 1.9 per cent.
