Mayor of London pledges to expand shared equity scheme

Mayor of London Boris Johnson has pledged to expand a shared equity scheme helping first-time buyers in London. Visiting the offices of the Coreco Group this morning to discuss apprenticeships, Johnson pledged his support for home ownership.

    There’s been no shortage of warnings re: these shared ownership scams; one can only deduce that to carry on peddling such crap is deliberate policy.

    I wonder how this couple are getting on four years later; one bed flat in Walthamstow with effectively a 100% mortgage, Ponzi claims another victim; just hope they don’t want kids anytime soon, one bed flats and kids aren’t fun.

  • It’s another day of the week that ends with the letter Y so it must be time to try and pump a bit of credit into the property market. After all, London property prices could really use another boost, eh?
