  • Hope has nothing to do with it, fancypants.

  • greenshootsandleaves says:

Remapping of the ‘two-tier market’ isobars as it emerges that there simply aren’t enough oilygarchs, berniecclestones or berniecclestonedaughters to keep the Lahndahn property bubble inflated. Looks like a deep LOW is on its way.

PS The reference to the riots as a market factor is, for once, quite plausible.
PPS I can’t see Ms Simon being appointed to the the post of property correspondent at the daily express (should it ever become available).

  • “and a collapse in buyer interest – particularly in areas hit by the recent riots – were to blame”.

So we finally see blood in street, now time to buy?

  • Regarding living in an area which had recent disorder,
I can see that people would not want to buy in a place like that and that
the people already living there might want to buy somewhere else instead.

It’s a shame though – especially if someone only bought in the area because it was the best that they could do for themselves and/or for their family.
