  • amazing really…….everything in economics says this is a debt fueled ponzi scheme,yet the developer seems in complete denial.

    Still holding up even in Australia.

    What he says is right though ie the credit expansion is what has fuelled this bubble. The good example being that someone 30 years ago with a £30k deposit could bit upto £100k for a property but now in Australia and 97%ltv they can bid upto £1m with the same £30k deposit (which is worth less now anyway).

  • prefer the “what to watch next” suggestion – even if the host sounds annoying he makes some good points, and some good catchphrases: “Don’t pay – walk away!”. Saying that Greece should default. Ireland shouldn’t bail out anglo-irish with taxpayers money. “Dont pay – these loans were fraudulently sold. Do what Iceland did”
