  • “deep bitterness” over dollar debasement, and are examining ways of teaming up to insulate themselves from the tsunami of US liquidity

    Bit late for that – but what else did they expect? I say tough luck.

    But I can see the US just QE’ing and QE’ing…..

  • The original arguments for QE were to add liquidity, they were valid arguments.~
    Now they argue that only having consumer inflation of 0.8% is dangerously close to deflation.
    This argument is much, much less valid. Furthermore the effect will be less for each dollar they inject. Their politicians are asleep at the wheel again for not attempting to stop this.
