Off topic, but does any accountants out there fancy a bash at this?

Guardian: The mystery of Tony Blair's finances

Since Tony Blair stepped down, he has received millions of pounds from an unusual mixture of income streams. His financial affairs have been described as 'Byzantine' and 'opaque'. Can you shed any light on them?

I would love to be able to. All I can add is-legitimate backhanders for illegal services rendered, and this has not been to first time I have alluded to the worthy subject in question. I am watching Mr Browns career advancements very closely, for dubious services to the financial industry and selling the UK out also.

An investment bank pays Tony Blair £500K per year to sit on the board of Directors. We are supposed to carry on voting for idiots like these to represent us. We don't live in a democracy and this article is the proof. I have voted for thirty years but will abstain this time.
If this financial crises leads to a war, then I hope it's a civil one.

Blair as PM did as he was told and he is rich. Harold Wilson didn't and he ended up attending the House of Lords because he needed the appearance money. Wilson as PM was smeared by the far-right and UK and US intelligence agencies (or rogue elements thereof) as a homosexual, an IRA supporter and a KGB man. During his tenure private armies and action groups stood by ready to take over the country in the event of the breakdown they were attempting to effect. The groups working behind the scenes to get Wilson ousted were the same ones who finally got Thatcher elected. Those involved in these preparations included many of the neo-colonialist land pirates who used private armies to gain power in areas of the world with significant mineral wealth. Poor Wilson didn't know how to play the game.

None of this is conspiracist fantasy. It's all been covered in the mainstream press, which also named those involved..

4. icarus, Good man! It's a shame that so many events such as the gulf of tonkin are only declassified when the guilty are dead or just too old. However, these events do serve a historical and unforgettable lesson for 'some.' The government doesn't always have 'our' best interests at heart, to put it politely. Poor Harold!

You don't need to be an accountant to understand that British politicians don't take bungs while in office. They go round collecting once they've stepped down. See also William Hague's earnings from giving lectures. Are either of them that intelligent or scintillating? Methinks not.

Brilliant analysis of history - I agree 100% with your analysis - you put it better than i could

I have just finished reading, today, John Perkins' 'The Secret History of the American Empire' follow up to the brilliant 'Confessions of an Economic Hit Man' I recommend them to everyone on this site as an essential read.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confessions_of_an_Economic_Hit_Man

They offer an insight into true conspiracies without Crunchy's more loony stuff

I still think Crunchy is a paid CIA agent who spouts out his rubbish to obfuscate reality and stop people finding out the real conspiracies that are going on in the world.

What's more is that this so called conspiraloon could have told you this years ago from the club of rome documents. However with your ignorance you would have just laughed and said, yes it's the new world order coming to get us all. You are the joke not me son!

This is an idiot commenting on something he knows nothing about....................Take note the number cruncher.

"It makes me laugh when all you Little Englanders in Surrey and Sussex start moaning about all those “beastly foreigners”. Britain’s place at the heart of a vibrant, dynamic, multicultural new Europe is secure and there’s nothing you can do about it.

You can’t stop progress. The wheel of history is turning; turning towards a fairer, socialist multinational democracy where the parasitic banking classes will have to bow to the will of the electorate; turning towards an equal world where narrow-minded parochial interests are subsumed by the common global good.

Those who oppose its inexorable progress will inevitably be ground into the dust." (only that sentence is unwittingly correct.)

God help us!

OK lets take your last Youtube post at 9 A post to the Alex Jones show - those coffin liners are there for a disaster, shuch as widespread flu pandemic - there is NO CONSPIRACY. Alex Jones is a sensationalist nutter who mixes reality with shear paranoid fantasy.

There are real conspiracies going on and you posting such nonsense means the average person has to wade through your obfuscatory rubbish to get at the truth.

Get a grip Crunchy

19. My reference to those coffins was a parody, obviously missed on you. However I will be the first to remind you of your narrow mindset if the first hundred Americans are shot in their "homeland." You can bank on that know it all.

That was a pathetic escape from my challenge and it is still open for you. Try again! "flu pandemic?" LOL. What an idiot.
