People are so stoopid! Don't they realise that 'if' the market picks up for them, it will pick up for everyone else - there is no gain, only relative increases in indebtedness.

i dont think thats the issue, they probably mean pick up enough to take them out of negative equity, but like the other guy said they will be waiting a good decade for that to happen probably and even then it wont be through asset appreciation but through having paid enough of the original mortgae off
