Daily Mash: Hospital cleaners help kill off greedy pensioners

Hospital cleaners create £10 of value for every £1 they are paid because they help kill off thousands of people who would otherwise be claiming a state pension, according to new research.

As my mother used to say 'many a true word said in jest'. When I was writing an essay some time ago, arguing against coercive suicide prevention, I pointed out that: "The economic cost of suicide (lost productivity and the burden of surviving dependants) is often cited in the case for coercive prevention. However, due to savings from suicides not requiring medical care and other services, there is actually a net economic gain (Yang and Lester 2007).
