Guardian: TESCO saves the day!

So it is true, looks like you can run an economy on TESCOs. We all work for 'em and spend our money there and so the economy goes round. WE shall rename the UK TESCOland. Simples!

tescos is not competition to banks nor anyone else, they simply delete anyone else, run by crook screwing everyone from public to suppliers out of money for what? gordon browns perfect tescoukland

Slightly of topic but Tesco's are one of those large British companys (BT and BA also fit the profile) that screw their staff, their suppliers and even their customers, but then spend millions on advertising trying to convince you that they are in fact your best mate. If they get a strangehold look out.

Given the flat situation in Leeds, I don't see how large job losses not spread out over the country, but concentrated in Leeds, can be anything other than disaster (on disaster).
I just had a look here,

50K properties ! London is like a different world, wages aren't that much different.
