BBC: GM plans to cut 10,000 Opel jobs

General Motors (GM) has confirmed that it plans to cut 10,000 jobs across its European car unit Opel, which includes the Vauxhall brand in the UK.

When we (Italians) offered to buy Opel with no job cuts, Angela Merkel and the Germans went nuts, so eventually they decided to give Opel to a HEDGE FUND (for chrissakes!) called MAGNA. And there we are we can see the result in typical financier vampire style.
By the way the word "magna" in Roman dialect means "to eat up"!

How fitting!
