Repossession, repossession, repossession
Europbaron on the forums found this. I wonder if Kirtsy Allslop will make an appearance?

…if the bankers who caused the crisis can advise the govt on how to fix it then why shouldn’t Krusty advise on how to buy and renovate repos?

I expect the Banks will sponsor this programme, with the serious point being that we should all struggle on to pay our mortgages.

Great find. 2 or 3 years ago, most members on this site would have given their left nut to see a program with this title on the BBC !!!

I remember on here somebody mentioning that Repossesion, repossession, repossession would be a future programme. I can’t remember
who it was, but I am sure If they are still around we will be reminded.

It was always a bit of an obvious play on the words and I think it’s already been done as a program – see http://www.moneysupermarket.com/community/forums/t/repossession-repossession-repossession-17435.aspx

I can tell you, the satisfaction at managing to post a hyperlink that works is even greater than the satisfaction at finding the link!

Right;
After just watching the programme this evening, this is my take on it.
New Labour would never have been elected if it hadn’t have been for the Scots. I apologise!
I’m sick of listening to “a large proporion of the older generation of Scots saying; my father voted labour and I always will too.” No matter what! You have to understand this mind set. No matter what happens with the economy or politics, the name “LABOUR” is all that matters. You see the ballot slip, you tick labour. Thats it, end of.
This programme tonight, set in Scotland, is the beggining of Gordon Browns election campaign!
Discredit the SNP at all costs. Every SNP vote means one less for New Labour.
And do you know what? We are that stupid!
I am feeling sick to my gut.
p.s I have no affiliations with any political party. I have no leanings. I hate every one of the UK’s political parties. They are only interested in their own power. I know, preaching to the converted.
Sick as a parrot!

One last thing.
The modern SNP are the Scottish version of New Labour.
Be afraid, be very afraid!

Anyone else actually watched this. It is available on I Player.
Lots of moaning about the English legal system being more favorable yet they keep mentioning but glossing over
a Scottish scheme where you can sell your house to a housing association and rent it back.
Good bit from the 1970s with a young couple getting a through interview with a Bank manager before he offers them a few
thousand to buy a flat. Also contains all the usual suspects like a bloke who bought his Council House for £20000 and MEWed until he
owed about £70000. One of the best things they could do is to ban MEWing. I’m sure the 1970s bank manager wouldn’t have let it happen.
