Grilled bacon for lunch?

Senior bankers face MPs for live television grilling

We'll have to see if this really will be a grilling or just a just a light 'old boys fagging network' basting for the cameras followed by a slap up meal a whey and draff.

  • I am watching the ‘grill’ as I blog, seems that the microphones in the committee room have been turned down so that the sound of pips squeaking does not drown out the fudging of issues in the answers being dragged from the assembled ‘bankers’.

Oh I’m not so sure about that. The idea of lining them up and throwing tomotoes is quite appealing.
A few hundered years ago they would have been in stocks having rotten veg and fruit thrown at them.

  • You naughty naughty bankers now don’t do it again, by the way is my job offer still on the table for when I retire from politics.

  • The BBC is calling it a grilling, but I don’t see that at all. The committee is just being too passive to challenge the mealy-mouthed political responses coming back.
