  • I don’t think the £750m is just on housing. It will include costs for demolitions, infrastructure & landscaping, plus extortionate fees to pointless consultants.

  • demolitions, infrastructure & landscaping – Are these not the costs any developer takes on – why does everything the government spend your money on cost 5 times that in private industry

  • You’d be surprised by the costs involved over and above the actual building costs. (I’m a QS by the way)
