  • I’m sure Dutch probity in this matter will be much better than the UK’s which it seems are happy to let the whole issue lie after a similar expose around a year ago by Channel 4.

    The buyers were still fools to believe that house X could be rented out for € 900 a month when house Y a few doors down is only going for € 600 a month. I suppose the surveyors’ stamp of approval made it seem legitimate.
