Tube electricians call two strikes over pay
The Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union said its members at EDF Energy Powerlink will walk off the job for 36 hours on Sunday night and on 7 December.

There is a theory that a job’s pay is inversely proportional to the value of that job to society. Society can afford to lose a few city bankers on million pound plus bonuses, but losing a few low paid electricians could be disastrous.
