The Ghost Train in the Underground.

Welcome to Britain

A current perspective, although open for interpretation , the train driver is Gordon and the tramp is the economy,or maybe the train? The hoodie, a refugee from canary wharf .God bless .

If crash Gordons the driver, maybe someone should point out that most of the track was taken up and sold some years before the gold reserves.

What a load of crap to be honest. Bold and edgy? How about unnecessary and rude.
Is this really what people want to see? I for one do not. I would rather not visit a place that feels it necessary to show things like that.
How on earth does a statue of a tramp sticking his finger up portray anything.

Now if had been 2 Jags or Gordon Brown giving the finger to us all that would be a representation of modern society and how it has been formed.
I don’t mind that – at least i can show it to the kids and say its educational.

  • Sorry guys,

If you want to try a few changes you could do worse than copy the Stockholm underground statues and presentations.

IMHO, all the stuff in the article is in poor taste.

One of the good things about the credit crunch is that the budget for such “art”, will get the chop.

Thank goodness. Time to clean up all the wanton excess of the last 10 years.
