Lend For America Plan

White House: "Banks Need To Stop Hoarding Money"

Here is an important announcement from the President Bush "Banks Need To Stop Hoarding Money". "Start lending money. In fact we demand it. ...Taxpayers will make billions when this plan succeeds. It's a 'win-win can't fail' situation. The more money banks lend the more money banks will make. It never fails. And the beauty of the plan is taxpayers benefit. If it looks like the plan is not working it's only because banks are not lending enough."- press secretary Dana Perino.

More silliness here at the Bigpicture. Things said during the 1930’s crash by experts.

  • MG as ive already told you Peter Jones from Dragons Den said this will be a shallow recession and he is an expert ;-). This is why its so dangerous to apply lessons you learnt on the way up to the way down. On the way up you buy on the pullbacks on the way down you sell the rallies. Of course with Dow 1,000 points daily swings its easier said than done.

So its the new version of http://www.wickedsunshine.com/WagePeace/Rights/Images/WickedSunshine_UncleSam_Blank_800x1000.png. But the people aint buying.

Its quite hilarious watching the US govt and others telling banks to start lending the bailout money. The banks were always going to protect their continued existence. What did the Govts think would happen?
