Lloyds-HBOS would be UK's top active fund manager

nvestment bank KBW said the proposed new insurance player would have around 18 percent of the market, based on 2007 figures, and the major competitive threat it poses could hurt the prospects of UK life players Legal & General, Standard Life and Friends Provident.

    Lloyds, and all the other high street names are just cover for the large financial organisations favoured by central banks that buy all the stocks and see all this as consolidation of power. We the people would be the shareholders if they weren’t favoured
