Gordo seems unaware that the Brits trusted Churchill in the last war.
“Shadow chancellor George Osborne said today’s package was “no triumph” and accused the Prime Minister of “presiding over the biggest economic disaster of our lifetime”.
Perhaps we should be making useful capital goods instead of working out new banking strategies? However, it may be too late for encouraging investment in industry – NuLabour has wasted the last 10 years (and the cash that came with it).
