London Flagship EAs CLOSE. So, holding up well ?

Estate agents shut as housing market slumps

Flagship branches of major estate agents in central London are being closed as house sales nosedive. Offices in prime locations including Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Fulham have shut and some industry figures are admitting the market is now worse than ever.

  • This is shocking if not surprising for RICS. For this to happen in such ‘desirable’ locals is tantamount to sacrilege.
    Best not to talk about such things in case Johnny foreigner stops investing.
    I hear they are looking for experienced EAs in Basra. Lots of potential apparently.

  • Estate agents depend on turnover to make money.
    RICS advise that turnoever has approximately halved in London.
    This is not the same as dramatic price falls.
