VI covers herself while boss is away

'Brown is a man of true grit'

One thing about what she says is correct, Brown should not be underestimated - I don't think any of has ever really managed to underestimate Brown. He can underachieve anything we throw at him.

  • And here’s me thinking he was a “S hining W hit ” !!!

I wonder if Harriet Harmen is getting rent from the Fathers 4 Justice guys, they seem to like her large London pad. “Minister for Women and Equality” Now there’s a contridiction just in the title. New Labour – same Old B*ll*cks.

  • Ms Harman agreed, but then made a jibe about Mr Hague’s boast when Tory leader about how much he drank as a teenager.
She said that the last person Mr Brown would be taking dietary advice from was someone who thinks a “good diet is 18 pints a day”.
Mr Hague hit back, to laughter: “None of that was ever wasted, I can assure you.”

I hate Harriet Harman. And Ruth Kelly.

  • Good to see our politicians rising to such an elevated level of debate – just what we need to sort out the mess.

  • ** Isn’t there something supremely ironic about being lectured about food waste by a prime minister who is past his own sell-by date? ** William Hague Shadow foreign secretary. Laugh ! ? ‘Almost bought a TV license :o)

Totally unelectable – that’s what he is.

Since the start of his term in office he has hardly made any impact on anything.
The only “miracle” about Gordon’s economy is the fact it lasted as long as it did and the fact that it got the f4t weasel into the PM’s job.
Just reating the words ” we are well placed” , “I’m the man for the job”, “fundamentals”, etc just shows him to be a man of very few words.
He is totally uninspiring. He is nothing Tony Blair ever was, at least Tony felt like a PM.

Gordon is utterly, totally and predictably boring.

  • Perhaps she meant to say he is a stupid git. High quality debate to end the day on HPC !

  • it_is_going – The only thing Blair had was a good sense of timing. Don’t forget that Blair was PM when the economy was in credit-bubble, debt-explosion mode. Why do we assume that Brown can override Badger but that Blair couldn’t override Brown?

  • I couldn’t wait to open the beeb article to see who said this.

As HH has very good academic credentials, she can’t have made such a big mistake – that leaves lying through her teeth!

New Labour just don’t know how to react in any other way than inane soundbites and spin. They are simply the political version of the property VIs – When we reach the bottom of this recession, they will be saying things like ‘we need to look at things in the perspective of the unprecedented growth of the last decade’.

I think this government has taught me a very good lesson, you cannot trust politicans, and banks have also played a central role!

The state of housing in this country is totaly beyond a joke, I would go so far as to say it is disgusting. I am so ashamed of what this country has come to!

Nu Labour is such a Juxtoposition, they are just slimey rich kids, messing up our country.

They have just done so much damage????

    Totally unculpable!!!
