Santander really different?
"In Praise Of Santander"
The author is painting a very rosy picture of Santander, not sure I'd be that positive about any bank. Is Santander really that much stronger than its peers? When it comes to the Financial sector relative strength is a strength but it's far too early to say whether this bank in particular will emerge as a winner...

Santander
Having financed the Spanish bubble, they’re now buying up dodgy UK companies with a questionable mortgage book.
You assume everyone is being very sensible and knows what they’re doing.
But you know what, I can’t help thinking all that shines isn’t necessarily Gold.
I expect we’ll hear some news from Santander before this has all panned out and people will say – but how was it allowed to happen, wasn’t it obvious etc. etc.
