Moody’s to check on accuracy

Moody’s to check on accuracy

I bet you thought that the senior management carried more of the responsibility. They were paid for it right? That's what the additional money is partly for. Wrong!! This is the second thing that has alluded to lower level employee error. So lets just get one thing straight. If things go well - it's down to my genius. If they go wrong - it's down to your failure. Are you with me? .. or against me?

  • This is almost as far fetched as banks blaming all of their losses on rogue traders.

In conclusion then, an unspecified computer bug led to Moodys giving exaggerated credit ratings, but there are no other bugs and there’s nothing to be considered unusual about the problem – in other words

“Move along there. It was all the fault of a computer bug because computers are complicated, mmkay?”

They really do make a business out of lying!

  • whiteknight – and if things go right I get big bonuses, if they go wrong I don’t pay anything back and I leave with my big payoff.
