  • nothing new really, Contrarian indexs always kick in at extremes. If all traders are bullish then expect a fall which becomes more pronounced because people need to get out of their positions when the reversal comes.

Look out for headlines and magazine covers depicting the “no end in sight” line for the boom or falls and that along with extreme readings on overbought / oversold indicators often co-incide with a top/bottom. With property lots of people are yet to be convinced that this is more than a blip down.

A case of bullish turning to bullsh1tish. Shows how the views of well-paid experts in financial matters are usually worthless.
