The BBC desperately tries to positively spin the figures by pointing to the NHF “predictions” and mumbling vaguaries about demand and fundamentals.
“Ignore the figures, look over there!”. Careful BBC, your bias is showing – wouldn’t want another fine now would you?

Why exactly have they used quotes:
UK house price fall ‘at a record’
?
Surely it is either a record, or it isn’t.
Or we have BBC ‘journalists’ who are in ‘denial’ about the ‘news’.

I thought the “demand” for houses was going to support house prices considering the lack of “supply”?
Looks like Mr Supply and Miss Demand have gone for a long holiday in the sun and won’t be back for a couple of years.

Property prices were still £11,000 higher than three years ago, the survey found.
Ah yes. We’ve moved from talking about the increase over the last 12 months to 2 years then 3 years. That’s right, keep the spin going – it’s easy to fool the sheeple.
